Let’s get acquainted

My name is Gregor Alaküla, the founder and sommelier of Wine Safari Estonia. I’ve spent half my life connected to the world of wine, specifically running Estonia’s northernmost winery, Valgejõe Veinivilla, alongside my family.

Tourism is another passion of mine, and I’ve worked within the sector in both the private and public domains. As a former journalist, I’m not one to sit behind a single desk for too long — I’m constantly hunting for the next exciting story. That’s exactly why I created Wine Safari Estonia: to shine a spotlight on the largely undiscovered, yet already internationally acclaimed, Estonian grape and berry wine scene and Estonian Wine Trail.
